During the Conference on Diversity in International Affairs, the Council on Foreign Relations, Global Access Pipeline, and International Career Advancement Program will bring together over 200 professionals and students from diverse backgrounds for seminars on foreign policy topics, global skills-building, international career opportunities, networking, and professional development. The ultimate goal is to connect participants to academic and career opportunities in international affairs and enhance their preparedness to be leaders in an increasingly diverse and global workforce.

 

The conference will include:  
  • A Friday evening reception and keynote address by a foreign policy leader
  • Panel discussions on current foreign policy issues 
  • Opportunities to engage with foreign policy professionals 
  • Workshops on career opportunities in international affairs
  • Information on fellowships and educational programs in foreign policy 
  • Skills workshops on networking, negotiating, and cultural competence 
  • Mentoring opportunities
  • 1-on-1 career counseling sessions
