Learn how to qualify to do business with Miami-Dade County.  This workshop will provide insight into the County’s small business programs and purchasing process.  Attendees will get helpful tips to increase their success. 

Presenter:
Lawanda Wright-Robinson, Technical Assistance Coordinator, Small Business Development Department of Miami-Dade County.
The Small Business Development department (SBD) was established to promote small businesses in the county.  The SBD coordinates related programs and provides small business resources and training through management and technical assistance.
As Technical Assistance Coordinator, Ms. Wright-Robinson reviews certification documents, provides one-on-one needs assessment and technical assistance, assists with contract and prompt payment issues, and assists start-up businesses with county logistics.
