4th of July Celebration

Volunteer to help in Ann Morrison Park on July 4th!

Volunteers are needed starting 6 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. We welcome all sorts of volunteer support, ranging from friendly faces at the information and check-in booths to folks securing the fireworks perimeter to help keep everyone safe. We also need a few volunteers July 5. Volunteers must be 18 or older.

This is the seventh year the Idaho Statesman, Journal Broadcast Group and the City of Boise have worked together to bring Fourth of July Fireworks to our city and the 4th year of the Idaho Statesman Chalk Art Festival.

Volunteers help make these community events a success. We hope you are able to help!

Volunteer shifts are available as follows:

July 4 - 6:00 a.m. to 10 a.m., 7:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m., 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., 11:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., 3:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m., 6:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., 7:30 p.m. - 11:30 p.m.
July 5 - 8:00 a.m. to noon
