Networks for Training and Development, Inc. was proud to announce the14th Employment Supports Symposium, a state-wide cross-disability event focusing on increasing employmentfor individuals with disabilities. This year's Symposium theme was "Employment 1st: Communities at Work!" 

Symposium Highlights:

EXTENDED SESSIONS:
This year we will be offering three extended sessions providing a more in-depth focus on their subjects:  

DAY ONE

  • Greg Smith, The Strength CoachGreg Smith, "The Strength Coach", will be joining us at this years' Symposium. From his "power chair", Greg Smith leads an energetic lesson in self-determination, mixing his personal story with life-lessons that inspire. He sees having muscular dystrophy as an opportunity to experience the world from a different perspective, and to speak, write, and broadcast the lessons he has learned.  Greg will present two sessions you won't want to miss!

                               Keynote - Getting the Job Done Together! 
                           How to Work a Room with the “Strength Coach”!

  • Community Employment Awards Cocktail Reception / Octavia Green Dream Job Award - Take some time to network with others, and join us as we recognize those whose actios demonstrate a comitment to advancing the Employment 1st! initiative and make employment a reality for ALL!
