A "Fracking Quilt"

  Unfrackable logo

The arrival of the natural gas industry in our communities has brought some benefits... and it has also brought disruptions in our lives, our peace of mind, our land, and our relationships with our neighbors.

How do we live with the challenges that come at us from without—and the fear, grief, and confusion we feel within our own hearts?

Join us this weekend for Unfrackable, a chance to rest, rejuvenate, share our experience, and discover new and creative ways to live with what's happening.

The weekend will include workshops you can choose from, fun and simple exercises with the whole group, and free time to get to know other people who are dealing with the same issues you are. There will be plenty of opportunities to experience creative, life-affirming ways to live with what's happening. For example:

•Make your own "Fracking Quilt" (no quilting or sewing experience necessary)
•Explore Non-Violent Communication so you can talk to others who don't agree with you
•Discover how to find insight and beauty where you least expect it
•Enjoy six delicious meals with ingredients supplied by local farmers
•Join with the whole group to make an expression of love and hope for our communities
•Share your personal stories, take walks on Crystal Lake Camp's beautiful land, and meet great people

And learn what it means to be unfrackable, no matter what is going on all around you!

This is a time to take a break from protest and action and join with others to revitalize ourselves and celebrate our communities and the Earth.

You will leave with solutions and a new sense of hope, community, and empowerment.
