Panelists:
Brien Buckman works in the Emerging Payments Strategic Alliances group at MasterCard, where he is responsible for developing emerging payments strategies and sourcing partnership, investment, and acquisition opportunities. Previously, he co-founded an entrepreneur networking company that was acquired in 2012. Brien currently serves on the Board of Trustees of the University of Connecticut and is a Global Startup Weekend Facilitator.
Bill McNulty is an innovative marketing and technology executive with deep financial services expertise. Bill founded the IRAmarket, a service that helps consumers compare options for their retirement accounts and 401k rollovers. Previously, he founded Decision Tree Media, a marketing software service that helped large financial services companies educate prospects and generate qualified sales leads. Bill started his career as an analyst, associate and VP in JPMorgan Chase’s M&A department in New York and London, specializing in the financial services industry. Bill holds a BA from Princeton where he majored in Near Eastern Studies.
Silvia Pan is a Director in UBS AG's Corporate Development, Group M&A. She has been in the financial services industry for the last 11 years. Over the last six years, she has supported UBS Investment Bank's principal acquisitions and investments. In this role, Silvia has conducted due diligence, negotiation and execution of over 30 investments and acquisitions, with a significant number in the area of financial technologies. Prior to UBS, Silvia held roles in investment banking at CIBC and Lehman Brothers and was a strategic consultant in the healthcare and automotive industries. She has a BS in Economics from the Wharton School and an MBA from University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
