Advancing Primary Eye Care Through Technology
5 hours of COPE approved credit
Speaker: Leo Semes, OD
Primary care optometrists are embracing technology as an important means of detecting and managing some of the most important anterior and posterior segment ocular disorders, including glaucoma, diabetes, and macular degeneration. This product demonstration will explore the role of the optometrist in managing these disorders and will provide an opportunity to experience the operation and function of some of the newer technologies that can expand the boundaries of comprehensive eye care. Advances in technology and the emergence of new pharmaceutical agents and treatment options warrant dissemination of new information to our community.
