An experienced SBA officer will explain the process for SBA loans, a banker will talk about types of loans available, and a SCORE counselor will will discuss other options for obtaining funding for your business.

Susan Lamping
is a Senior Community Loan Officer at CDC Small Business Finance and acts as the liaison for the technical assistance needs of small businesses in San Diego County. In partnership with local banks in San Diego, she assists borrowers in acquiring SBA loan products which are specifically designed to make credit more accessible to entrepreneurs. Her responsibilities also include coordinating the business consulting needs of CDC's community loan borrowers and monitoring their businesses.
Previously, Susan was Vice President of Lending and Marketing at ACCION San Diego, a local micro lending organization, where she managed all aspects of lending operations as well as marketing and outreach. Susan has a wide range of experience in international and development fields. She received her Master's degree in International and Intercultural Management from the School for International Training in 1998 and is proficient in three languages.
Paul Sipe
has over thirty years in the commercial banking business. He organized and started two locally owned banks in the east San Diego County. He also has a diverse background in commercial, industrial and residential real estate, including sales, leasing and financing. He has his own consulting business, specializing in construction financing, mergers and acquisitions, long-term leasing and turn-around evaluations. He served as a NASD arbitrator for over twelve years and is knowledgeable in the securities business. Paul joined SCORE in July 2007.
