The role of “instructor” is an ever-changing one in today’s policing. We demand more knowledge while allocating less time to teach and less money to expend. This course is designed not only to update current instructors in areas of Force Response training but to also recharge and renew the energy and enthusiasm it takes to train ethical warriors. The class will take a round-table approach allowing attendees the opportunity to share and learn from each other. Attending instructors should come prepared to present and teach a 15-20 minute block on the policing topic of their choice. Topics covered will include:
Officer Liam Duggan has been with SPPD since 2011. Prior to that, he was with Burnsville PD for 14 years. Serving in assignments such as patrol, vice/narcotics, training and special operations, he is an accomplished instructor that is recognized as such by National Level Law Enforcement trainers.
