Class Materials: Three homework swatches with yarn still attached; a few balls of contrasting brightly-colored (but solid) worsted weight yarn (please do not choose anythign too dark); sticky notes (such as Post It Notes); two size 6 double pointed knitting needles; [optional: graph paper, 5 squares to the inch; pencil]

Homework:

Three swatch pieces as folows:

#1: With smooth, solid light-colored worsted weight yarn and size 6 needles, CO 28 sts. Slip sts onto holder

#2: with smooth, solid light-colored worsted weight yarn and size 6 needles, CO 20 sts, Slip onto holder

#3: With smooth, solid light-colored worsted weight yarn and size 6 needles, CO 24 sts. Slip onto holder
