"Excellent presentation/attention to detail/clarity."

"The information was presented in an easily understandable format.  I liked that outlines were given, then built upon, with many examples.  Carlos is extremely knowledgeable about the subject matter.  He easily stayed on topic, and answered all questions with ease and grace."

"Mr. Gonzalez is a phenomenal speaker - he was able to keep the attendees attention for 6½ hours.  Provided the information in an interesting and useful manner".

"Explained all concepts on a very basic level - extremely easy to understand.  Excellent graphs and examples to illustrate/better explain the content.  Thank you for allowing plenty of time to answer questions."

"Well organized and realistic what it takes to go into or improve upon your business.  Very informative on the "guts" of the business."

Business Plan

From the small business experts

at SCORE Vancouver

A half-day seminar to get you and your business
off to a strong start.

Too many hours have been wasted creating fill-in the blanks business plans just because someone said you needed one but didn’t explain why !

This accelerated seminar focuses on helping you to really think about the business you want to start or the business you already have We’ll show you how to analyze how your business intends to create or capture and deliver value to customers (That’s what a business model is)

Together we’ll help you define and size your customers segments (that’s a “market”), how to view and overcome or sidestep the competition and how to make your business visible to your prospects (that’s “marketing”).

We’ll put you in a position to dissect all aspects of your business idea, particularly the ones you are uncomfortable with. We’ll also help you see there are always different alternatives and an orderly, unemotional process for selecting the best ones.

Only when all the thinking is done, do you capture it in one or many plans each designed for a particular audience.

A Little Help From Your Friends – So we get that you’ve probably been to lots of classes that however great didn’t help you produce a useful result. That’s where this class is different. After the workshop you’ll be able to schedule free one on one sessions with experienced SCORE mentors who will work with you to make sure you end up with a plan that make a difference to your business and your life.

This seminar will be led by Vancouver SCORE Business Mentor Carlos Gonzalez who has over 30 years'  experience in process engineering, product and business development for one of our country's largest chemical companies with postings throughout South America.  Additionally, he served as General Manager of an Argentine chemical manufacturer and, for four years, provided specialized business consulting services through his own company based in Miami, Florida.  As the sidebar indicates, Carlos often receives the highest reviews of any of the SCORE seminar presenters.

Each attendee will be given a Flash Drive containing copies of all speaker visual aids, notes, planning software, templates and reference documents.

RSVP: Seating is limited.  At $45 this high value class is less than 1/2 the cost of other local offerings. Register using the button below; a confirmation email will be sent to you.
