On April 13th Animal House is bringing you our 2nd Annual Choice City Comedy Night...Sit!  Stay!  Speakeasy! So dig out your flapper dress, your suspenders and join us for a night of celebration and laughter.   Here at Animal House we make a promise to the animals that are entrusted into our care.   We have given thousands of animals what they need most...a second chance for life.    This night will not only celebrate our accomplishments but will give a chance to look forward to our continued growth and success.   We know it is because of our amazing community that we continue to save lives.  

This unique fundraising event will feature national and local comedians, jazz music, heavy appetizers, cash bar, giveaways, prizes, success stories from local adopters, and of course some adorable puppies!  This is our biggest fundraiser of the year.  The animals and people we serve need your support to make it a success!

With major radio sponsors 99.9 The Point and Tri 102.5 on board our limited tickets will go fast!  Ticket prices are $35 in advance with discount pricing available for groups of four or ten.   Prices include entry, appetizers, and hours of fun and laughter.  

100% of the proceeds of each ticket go straight to helping our four legged friends. 

Cocktail hour starts at 6:30, Entertainment and Program begins at 8:00pm.

National Headliner:  Brandt Tobler

Brandt is a seasoned comedy veteran who has lived in Las Vegas and LA and travelled the country, performing all across the 50 states. He is the founder of the legendary Backyard Comedy Show. In the Backyard Show, Brandt created an independent, grass-roots, censor- and clique-free forum for comics to do what they love to do, which is perform, without having to deal with the confines of typical Vegas-casino red tape. Some of America’s funniest stand-up comedians have come to town to perform with Brandt.  He is also performing nightly all over Los Angeles and beyond. He always delivers a laid-back, offbeat, hilarious brand of comedy you are sure to enjoy.

Feature: Alicia Jacobs

Alicia performs all around Colorado and the Midwest bringing her quirky impressions and observations on life as a disgruntled retail employee. A finalist in both the Great American Comedy Festival and Comedyworks' New Faces Contest, Alicia is a proud cat-lover who is thrilled to support this great cause!

Feature:  Josh Skillman

Josh is a rising star from Fort Collins Colorado whose quick wit and personable sense of humor has made him a fan favorite. He has performed around the states and has developed a unique perspective on comedy. Utilizing his experience as a comic book and video game nerd, Josh creates stories that make him a bit of a lovable loser for audiences. Josh has been featured in the LocalMC magazine (a local entertainment mag) which put his name on the comedy map. You’ve seen Josh on stages around the US since 2010 and he’s been making audiences laugh until it hurts since the beginning. 

Emcee and Opener:  Scott Beasley

Local animal lover and professional voice talent Scott Beasley has been sharing his positive, upbeat (and off-beat), observational comedy with audiences as an amateur comedian since 2010.  He has had the honor of serving as emcee and host for a variety of Fort Collins events and organizations and he has been the host of the Comedy Night at The Mayor of Old Town since October of 2011.
