VSAFirst lessons in early education and play help young children learn about how things work in the world and about all the exciting ways we move and travel – in our imaginations, with our bodies through space, as well as travel in cars, sleds, planes -- and rockets!  This   conference introduces a rich array of arts activities and concepts that will help young children explore the many learning possibilities centered around this theme.

Through music, creative movement, creative drama and visual arts, participants will experience a wealth of activities and ideas they can use with children in classrooms, child-care settings, community sites and at home. Particular attention will be given to meeting the needs of children with developmental and learning differences.

Participants will take away sample lessons as well as many user-friendly ways to link the arts and learning. We'll be singing, dancing, painting and creating unique "vehicles" for travel and exploration.

Presented by: The Arts Alliance of Northern New Hampshire and VSA New Hampshire as part of our ongoing Arts in Learning collaboration.
