Are you considering starting a small business but don't know where to begin?  Let SCORE's successful and experienced executives help you through the business planning process to make an informed  "go/no go" decision...to make your business dream a reality.  Attend this information-packed series to learn how to:

  • Define and evaluate your idea
  • Research the market, customers and competitors
  • Develop a marketing strategy
  • Identify the best ways to fund your start-up.
  • Turn your idea into action with tools and templates.
  • Get useful and helpful mentoring sessions.
  • Connect with other entrepreneurs.

The SCORE StartSMARTTM Series provides five 3-hour workshops with action steps and one-on-one mentoring sessions with an experienced SCORE counselor :

  2. Business­ Concept & Data Collection: 4/25/13
  3. Marketing Plan: 5/7/13
  4. Financial Projections: 5/23/13
  5. Funding Sources and Next Steps: 6/6/13

The first session is offered as a FREE trial.  The entire series is available for just $128 (cash/check only) and includes five 3-hour workshops PLUS unlimited one-on-one-mentoring.   Veterans and their families can get a free program series voucher that must be presented at first session by visiting www.vetsfastlaunch.org.
