You are invited to participate in a series of FREE Microsoft programming workshops March 18-22 on the South Dakota School of Mines & Technology campus. Microsoft executive Dr. Bradley Jensen will be teaching the workshops for students, faculty, staff and the general public in three hour blocks.  The workshops are sponsored by Microsoft in partnership with the South Dakota School of Mines & Technology, Department of Mathematics and Computer Science and South Dakota GEAR UP.

No programming experience is required! Both Mac and PC users are welcome. The workshops will be held in three hour blocks and each offered twice to accommodate schedules with a morning and evening session taught throughout the week.   The Introductory Workshop is offered Monday March 18th from 5:30 – 9 p.m. and repeated on Tuesday March 19th from 9 a.m.-noon.  The Introductory workshop is a pre-requisite to #3 Simple App, #4 Gaming and #5 Windows 8 App.

Attendees are required to bring their own laptop or computer.  Prior to class please install software from DreamSpark.com and click on the “students” tab at the top to download the software.  In order to maximize class time please have DreamSpark installed prior to attending the workshop.
