The renowned pianist Gregory Allen joins Stephanie for an afternoon of exquisite music making. Gregory was the Grand Prize Winner of the 1980 Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Master Competition in Tel Aviv. Prior to that, he received top honors in the Queen Elisabeth Competition in Brussels, the Washington International Competition, and the Gina Bachauer Competition. Gregory has played with many of the major orchestras and conductors both internationally and in the United States.
Repertoire will include Schubert's Duo Sonata in A Major, Op. 162, D. 574, Beethoven's Romance in F, Op. 50 for violin and piano and, Fazel Say's Sonata for violin and piano. Gregory will also regale us with precious gems from the compositional pen of Sergei Rachmaninoff.
