WTS-Sacramento March Program:

Capital Southeast Connector JPA - Tom Zlotkowski

We are pleased to be welcoming Tom Zlotkowski, PE, the Executive Director of the Elk Grove, Rancho Cordova, and El Dorado County Connector Joint Powers Authority (JPA), to provide an update on the status of the Capital Southeast Connector Project on March 26, 2013.

The Connector is being planned as a 35-mile parkway-style facility to improve travel in the region. It will span from Interstate 5, south of Elk Grove, to Highway 50 in El Dorado County, just east of El Dorado Hills. The Connector project took a critical step forward this past March when the board voted to adopt the proposed general alignment and certify the Revised Final Program Environmental Impact Report (PEIR). These decisions have moved the project into an exciting new phase of development. Come hear the latest updates on the project!
