Imam Ali Siddiqui - the Islamic Center of North Marin 

 Imam Ali Siddiqui is a Friday Khatib (Congregation Leader), an activist for Peace and Economic Justice, Islamic teacher, Muslim Chaplain, youth advisor, Faith-based Family Counselor, educator, poet, and a writer with a vision who has been involved in the teaching of Islam, comparative religion, history, and contemporary issues to Muslims and non-Muslims and the community service including Spiritual/educational development, service to the sick and the incarcerated. He has been on speaking tours internationally and across the USA presenting Islamic Prospective and Muslim Point of View on the current affairs to promote Islamic awareness, inter-faith understanding, and mutual respect. Imam Siddiqui also teaches as a Guest Lecturer at some of the local universities and seminaries and speaks out against Islamophobia. He has received many commendations for his work, service, and scholarship including the title of Imam in 1994. Presently Imam Siddiqui is the Interfaith Outreach Coordinator at the Islamic Center of North Marin, Novato; Executive Director of Muslim Institute for Interfaith Studies & Understanding, Santa Rosa, CA;  Co-coordinator, North Bay Jewish Muslim Dialogue; Member, Santa Rosa Interfaith Ministerial Association and Marin Interfaith Council; ACLU Sonoma County Board; Friday Congregation Leader at Islamic Center of North Marin & American Muslim Society of Napa, CA; 

Rev. Veronica Goines - Presbyterian/Black Church Tradition
Veronica Goines is the mother of two young adult daughters, Nicole and Amber.  Her former career was in Graphic Design and Illustration, and she continues to engage her skills in art and interior design.  Veronica is an avid hiker, and enjoysGoines snorkeling and whitewater-rafting at every opportunity.  She received her Masters of Divinity Degree from San Francisco Theological Seminary and currently is a Ph.D. student at the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley.  Through interdisciplinary studies, she seeks to integrate the disciplines of Homiletics and Pastoral Theology through the lens of Womanist Theology.  Veronica is pastor of St. Andrew Presbyterian Church in Marin City, California, where she has served since 1995.

Ms. Simran Kaur - Advocacy Manager, Sikh Coalition
Simran joined the Sikh Coalition as Advocacy Manager in September 2011 and leads outreach and advocacy efforts in California. Prior to joining the Sikh Coalition, Simran managed a health program for Children's Hospital Central California. Simran travels regularly for global health projects and has worked to improve access to health for immigrant and refugee communities. She is an active member of the Sikh community in California, volunteering with Jakara Movement, co-founding The Langar Hall - a progressive Sikh blog, and is a liaison for Saffron Press - an independent publishing house focused on multicultural literature for and about Sikhs. She is on the Board of Directors for The Women's Building, a women-led community space that advocates self-determination, gender equality and social justice and has served as the Affirmative Action Officer on the Board of Directors for the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) of Northern California. Simran obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of California, San Diego and her graduate degree from Boston University School of Public Health
