2013 Environmental Educator Conference
Join us for the next Environmental Educator Conference! The event, which will take place Wednesday, June 19, is at the Benjamin Olewine III Nature Center, 100 Wildwood Way, Harrisburg, PA 17110. Seating is limited to 50 attendees. The session is open to environmental educators, teachers and volunteers. There is a $25 registration fee per person.
The first 35 conservation district staff members [one per district] to register will be eligible for mileage reimbursement (up to $50).
Hosted by the Pennsylvania Assocation of Conservation Districts, the conference was made possible thanks to a grant provided by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection through the Northumberland County Conservation District. ***As of April 10, 2013, a block of rooms has been secured at the Days Inn Harrisburg North, 3919 N. Front Street, Harrisburg, PA 17110. Rooms must be reserved by May 18 for a rate of $59.99 (plus tax). If your organization is tax exempt, you must provide that information to the hotel when reserving your room. The discounted rate is only available for the night of June 18. Call 717-233-3100 to make your reservation. Ask for the PACD room block. This hotel is about a mile and a half from the Wildwood Center.***
