2nd Annual Diocesan Stewardship Conference

In the changing economic climate in which we find ourselves, attending to the way we listen to our people, engaging them in financial support of our congregations, thanking them for their gifts, and reporting on how their financial support transforms lives, is more important than ever.

This year we are happy to host two keynote speakers for our conference, with additional opportunities for small group, interactive sessions with the speakers.  Parishes are invited to send up to three (3) participants. Everyone will attend the morning keynote addresses and then participants will choose one of the two afternoon sessions.

The Rev. Canon Timothy Dombeck, Canon to the Ordinary in the Diocese of Arizona will speak on Stewardship in Smaller Parishes. Timothy serves as an officer of The Episcopal Network for Stewardship and has created an online Stewardship University called “Stew U.”

Mr. James Murphy is the Managing Program Director for the Episcopal Church Foundation and frequently works with dioceses or individual parishes on all aspects of planned giving, including endowments, wills, life income and other planned gifts and how these can enhance your congregation’s ministry and mission.
