GGF was established to support family medicine training programs where access to primary care is limited. It is our dream for everyone on the planet to have a physician they can call their family doctor...a massive goal! Rather than sending physicians around the world to provide care, our focus is to send physician-teachers to communities that need more doctors and build or strengthen training programs to educate new doctors. It is our hope that these newly minted MDs will then continue on to train their successors in a self-perpetuating fashion.

With your support we are currently supporting existing Family Medicine programs in East Africa. As our foundation grows, the possibilities to help less-fortunate communities are endless!
