DWI/Traffic Safety and DRE Recertification Conference 

The 2013 DWI/Traffic Safety Conference and DRE Recertification Training will be held from June 5-7 at Tan-Tar-A Resort.   This annual event is open to prosecutors, law enforcement officers and other highway safety advocates and focuses on impaired driving and other traffic safety issues. 

This year the conference will include sessions on: Prosecuting the Distracted Driver, Big Rigs and Traffic Enforcement, Narcotic Analgesics and Other New Opiates, and Dealing with the Aftermath of Trauma.  The conference will combine general interest sessions and breakout sessions targeted to drug recognition experts, prosecutors, and non-DRE law enforcement officers.  The conference will offer approximately 14 hours of CLE and POST credit.  

Please note that the registration fee for this conference is $100.  The registration fee should be paid in advance by mailing a check to the address below.  Payment by check only may be made at the door.  Advance payment can also be made by credit card.  If you would like to pay by credit card, please contact Susan Glass for additional information.  If you will be sending one check for multiple attendees, please indicate the names of the attendees.  Checks should be mailed to:

A block of rooms has been reserved at Tan-Tar-A for the nights of Wednesday, June 5, and Thursday, June 6.  Attendees are responsible for the cost of their own hotel rooms.  The room rate is $75.00 per night inclusive of lodging tax.  The cut-off date for making reservations is Monday, May 6, 2013.  You may make reservations by calling 573-348-3131.  Be sure to mention that you will be attending the conference sponsored by the Missouri Office of Prosecution Services in order to secure the room rate.

Funding for this conference is provided by the Missouri Division of Traffic and Highway Safety.

Please note that once payment for this conference has been received, MOPS cannot issue a refund.  We will work with you to transfer your registration to another attendee at the 2013 DWI/Traffic Safety  conference.  However, no refunds will be issued and payment cannot be applied to any other conference. No exceptions.
