Please welcome Khabir Kitz -- artist, sufi master, teacher --  to Dallas for a sacred weekend of renewal, reunion and deep connection to Source.   ALL segments of the weekend offerings are accessible to everyone.  No previous experience required or desired.   Murshid Khabir Kitz has deep roots in Texas where many of his students live and practice.  He started a Sufi Center in Texas called the Shrine of the Heart in the early 1970's.
 
WEEKEND RETREAT SCHEDULE

Saturday 9:30-11:45a ~ Sufi class | $35
Practicing Oneness.  Practices of the Sufis in connecting to the One, using the sacred names of God, meditation methods, breathing techniques and the spiritual walks as taught by Murshid Sam Lewis.

Lunch 11:45a-1:45p ~ Lunch | $9 donation or BYOLunch
Prepared by Johnny Wolf of local Wolfsong Farm, 30 year devotee of Murshid Khabir Kitz.  Or bring your lunch for outdoor or inside picnic.

Saturday 1:45 - 4:30p Sufi Class | $35
Learn the whirling dervish "Turn" as meditation practice.  In 1976 he studied the dervish turn with Rashad Field, later with Jelaluddin Loras and continues the practice as a semazen and teacher of the turn as a meditation practice.

People in all walks of life are searching for happiness, peace and tranquillity.  Each and every person wants to be at peace.  Zikr, pronounced Dhi-kar, means remembrance.  Specifically, remembereance of Source, Allah, Creator, God within.
