The Lansing Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to host its first Midnight bike ride - THE LOOP!

Registration 8 - 10 p.m. /Ride Starts at 10:30 p.m.

Raffle Drawing for Verve Bike at 9 p.m. at Park Plaza!

Enjoy a fun, relaxing bike ride through Lansing, Illinois and enjoy the 120 year heritage of the town. Several of our businesses will be available with open arms to welcome you for either a respite or great fun.

This is not a race, but a family-friendly fun event, and what better way to have fun than riding in the middle of the sleepy streets at midnight?! 

The route is 15 miles, with a 7 mile "short route" that includes the first half of the ride (the southern half). The Lansing Public Library is the official "half way route point"  and SAG stop!! They are staffed and will be ready to receive riders!

• The Art Studio
• Sleep Inn
• Comfort Suites
• J. J. Kelley’s
• One Trick Pony

There will also be businesses and organizations with stands to offer goodies along the route.

Ride starts. End at Park Plaza with breakfast;

Interested in a shorter route for your family? We have that too! If you choose, you can stay on the southern "square" of the route to keep from burning out the kiddies!

By continuing to register for this event you agree to the following:

• I agree that my level of fitness is appropriate to participate in the event;
• I agree that my bicycle is in safe operating condition;
• I agree to not wear headphones or use a mobile phone while biking in the event;
• I agree to ride safely, signal my movements, be alert to my surroundings, stay to the right when riding slowly and pass on the left of other participants;
• I agree to obey the rules and directions of the Lansing Area Chamber of Commerce organizers and volunteers;
• I understand that bicycling involves risks and can result in loss of personal property, bodily injury or even death;
• I personally assume any and all of the risks associated with participation in this event;

I release, absolve, indemnify and hold harmless the Lansing Area Chamber of Commerce, Cook County, Cook County Forest Preserve District, the Lan-Oak Park District, their agents and/or employees, and the Village of Lansing, IL and all of its employees, directors, sponsors and volunteers from any manner of liability, claims for damages or causes of action.

IF REGISTERING A MINOR(S), I affirm that I am the custodial parent or legal guardian of the minor. I consent to the above terms, including the waiver and release of claims on behalf of the minor(s).
