Annual Meeting Dinner 

Please join us for our Annual Meeting Dinner on Thursday, May 16, starting at 5:30pm.  Our meeting and dinner will be followed at 7:00pm with a keynote address by Jay Bakker.  Jay will speak about his latest book, "Faith, Doubt and Other Lines I've Crossed: Walking With the Unknown God."  Copies of Jay's books will be available for purchase and autograph.

The dinner and annual meeting will occur in Emerson Hall at All Souls Unitarian Church, 2952 S Peoria Ave in Tulsa.  The keynote address will occur in the main sanctuary.

Our dinner will be provided by Women in Recovery, a Tulsa-based intensive outpatient alternative for eligible women facing long prison sentences for non-violent, drug-related offenses.  The women will be cooking, serving and cleaning up as part of their training for a career in food service.

The meal costs $25/person and will consist of:

  • Spinach salad with pickled red onions, blue cheese, walnuts, strawberry-basil vinaigrette,
  • Seared chicken topped with sundried tomatoes, mushrooms, spinach, and mozzarella cheese served over orzo pasta, OR Sautéed kale, mushrooms, sundried tomatoes, and kalamata olives served over quinoa,
  • Classic tiramisu with caramel sauce

(Please note that children and youth are welcome for dinner, the meeting, and/or the keynote address, but childcare is not provided.  The dinner fee and selections for youth are the same as for adults.  For children, the dinner fee is $10/child.  The children's dinner will consist of chicken fingers and macaroni & cheese.)

After we have finished with our meal, starting at approximately 6:15pm, we will have our Annual Meeting at which we will present our financial report, elect new Board members, and hear about upcoming events.

If you are unable to attend the dinner, you are still invited to attend the Annual Meeting (at 6:15pm) and the keynote address by Jay Bakker (at 7:00pm).  Both of those events are FREE and open to the public (although only members of the Tulsa Interfaith Alliance may vote at the Annual Meeting).

Whether you are able to join us for the evening or not, you can still renew your annual membership in the Tulsa Interfaith Alliance by clicking on the "Register Now" button and select the "Annual Membership" purchase option.  We are a 501(c)3 organization, so your Annual Membership is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.  No goods or services are received in exhange for your Annual Membership.  Check with a tax professional for guidance.

 

Sponsorship Levels 

If you're interested in giving a little extra to help with the ongoing work of the Tulsa Interfaith Alliance, we offer the following sponsorship levels:  A portion of your sponsorship contribution is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.  The value of goods and services you receive from your sponsorship contribution is $40/person.  Contact your tax professional for guidance.

$100 (Single) - One annual membership in the TIA, one adult dinner ticket, and one autographed copy of any of Jay Bakker's books.  (See Jay's website for a listing of the book options.)  Special recognition at the dinner.

$200 (Couple) - Two annual memberships, two adult dinner tickets, and two autographed copies of any combination of Jay Bakker's books. Special recognition at the dinner.

$250 (Family) - Two annual memberships, two adult dinner tickets, two child dinner tickets, and two autographed copies of any combination of Jay Bakker's books. Special recognition at the dinner.

$500 (FriendsofTIA) - Four annual memberships, four adult dinner tickets, and four autographed copies of any combination of Jay Bakker's books. Special recognition at the dinner and keynote address.
 
$1,000 (Benefactors) - Reserved table at the dinner, eight annual memberships, eight adult dinner tickets, and eight autographed copies of any combination of Jay Bakker's books.  Special recognition at the dinner and keynote address, and on our print and electronic announcements of this event.

To select any of these sponsorship levels, enter the word in parentheses after the dollar amount into the PROMO CODE field on the registration form.  Please also register each guest you wish to include at your sponsorship level. along with the appropriate number of annual memberships and copies of Jay Bakker's books per your sponsorship level.
