Foothill College/KCI FastTech Class - Presentation Design 

Do you dread public speaking? Being an effective presenter is critical for anyone who aspires to be in a leadership position. In fact, presentations can be career defining. This class will introduce you to valuable presentation media tools such as PowerPoint or Prezi (a free tool) and provide hands-on experience. Studies show that audiences retain 5% of what they hear from lecture compared to 90% when media, brainstorming and collaboration techniques are used. Power Point and Prezi now support many interactive capabilities that allow you to speak, engage and even collaborate with your audience. You will not only learn how to use these tools, but you will learn how to improve your speaking skills, demonstrate with multimedia, run collaboration sessions, and create rich media.
