Come join us for this exciting four session course, led by Susan Schoenfeld. The four 90 minute sessions on consecutive Wednesday evenings will use acting techniques to get you up and moving, and help you to better figure out how to read non-verbal cues in others as well as be more aware of how others perceive you. The class includes role-playing of job interviews and workplace situations.
Who is this class for? This class is for young adults in their 20's who have Asperger Syndrome and would like to develop skills to better participate in the workplace, or practice for job interviewing.
Who is the instructor? Susan Schoenfeld has an MA in Communication and a BS in Speech. She has a Wisconsin State Teachers License and a background in theatre, communications, education, coaching and working with individuals with special needs. Susan is well respected in the field of education. She has taught courses in the Communication departments of UWM, Alverno College,MATC and Marquette University. In 1989 Susan formed her own Communication Consulting Firm providing services to business and community groups throughout Wisconsin. She coached clients, presented motivational speeches and seminars, and designed programs tailored to meet the needs and objectives of her clients.
Most recently, Susan was the Program Design and Curriculum Manager at Goodwill Industries,
where she designed curriculum, conducted training and managed programs.
What is the cost for the class? The fee is $240 for the 4 classes, $200 for members
