ROCKY PATEL

Originally an entertainment lawyer in Los Angeles, Rocky Patel was introduced to cigars on the back lots of Hollywood studios. Fine cigars quickly became a passion for him, and he became one of the original founding members of the Grand Havana Club. While searting for the very best cigars, Rocky was approached with the opportunity to manufacture his own brand. After careful development, the Indian Tabac Cigar Company debuted at the 1996 RTDA in Cincinnati. Customers flocked to the Indian Tabac booth, drawn in by the distinct packaging and staying for the high-quality product.

Today, Rocky continues his mission to introduce his prouct to tobacco enthusiasts everywhere. Often heralded as the hardest working man in the business, Rocky logs more than 300 days on the road a year. He considers his traveling as time well spent, winning over new customers in every town. This practive is only an extension of Rocky's enthusiasm for his award-winning cigars and his commitment to his customers. Rocky also hosts trips to his factory in Honduras, giving his customers a chance to discover fine craftmanship in person. The dedication in the factory is translated into a quality cigar that is enjoyed all over the world.

Currently producing 20 million cigars annually, Rocky elucidates, "cigar manufacturing is an art form that has transcended over generations." Three hundred different hands touch the tobacco from the time a seedling is planted into the ground, to the time a cigar is placed in a box for final shipment. We first discovered Paso Robles in the early 1980s and became enamored with this emerging wine country. Along golden slopes, where the Pacific coastline unfolds into rugged ranchlands and cowboy ambiance, a new generation of California winemakers was turing Paso Robles into one of the world's most dynamic winegrowing regions.

In the mid 1990s we planted our first estate vineyard and established Vina Robles as a family winery specializing in varieties that excel in the region's diverse terroir. The vision for Vina Robles is summed up by our motto: European Inspiration--California Character.

Today, our wines are available across the United States, Canada, Europe, and Asia, and can be enjoyed at our hospitality center in the heart of the Paso Robles wine country.
