An Outdoor Classroom Conference for Early Childhood Educators

The Outdoor Classroom Project in Santa Barbara County and the Orfalea Foundation invite you to an interactive and energizing one-day conference.
Workshops will focus on enhancing outdoor environments, programming and practices that are supported by brain research and are designed to inform and inspire on a range of facets of the Outdoor Classroom. Early childhood professionals will have a unique opportunity to acquire enhanced skills for cultivating and sustaining outdoor programs that promote vibrant health from being outdoors and support the development of a life-long love of learning.
Participant Tracks:
The full-day program includes a welcome keynote presentation, three workshop sessions, a light healthy breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack, handout and resource package, closing session, display room, raffle prizes and certificate of completion for six hours of professional development credit.

Registration, media display viewing, product sales, networking and a light healthy breakfast will begin at 7:30 am. The conference is from 8:45 am to 4:00 pm.
