Well, they're both awesome, of course!  But seriously, APR month and Jimmy Beans Wool have come together to bring you a great presentation.

 April is APR Month and the Sierra Nevada Chapter is celebrating by recognizing local public relations practitioners who have earned the professional distinction of APR. These 19 professionals are specially invited to this educational programming meeting where they will have the opportunity to earn 1.0 points toward their reaccreditation – a gift from the Chapter to congratulate them for their hard work and commitment to the profession.

All Sierra Nevada Chapter members are welcome to attend this complimentary, continental breakfast meeting. Cost for non-chapter members is $25. During the event, members interested in pursuing their accreditation can network with and seek mentoring from existing APRs.

NEW! Accredited PRSA members who bring a guest interested in learning more about accreditation will be entered into a drawing to win a $50 gift card to Bistro Napa. And all Sierra Nevada Chapter APRs will receive a special gift for attending.

Laura Zander is CEO of  Jimmy Beans Wool, a Reno-based company whose social media prowess has earned them coverage in the New York Times. Zander will share how she uses social media to create a worldwide fan base and drive business. Jimmy Beans Wool won EDAWN’s Business of the Year in 2012 and Zander was named a Reno-Tahoe Young Professional’s Network top 20 under 40 in 2012.
