June 27: Horticulture Tour of the Rose Kennedy Greenway

The Rose Kennedy Greenway Conservancy cordially invites you to attend one of three planned Horticulture tours on the Greenway this year.

Led by the Horticulture staff of the Rose Kennedy Greenway Conservancy, these tours will provide  background on the landscape design of the Parks, while focusing firsthand on showcasing the challenges and successes of organically maintaining and improving the 15 acre rooftop landscape that sits atop the 1-93 tunnel created by the “Big Dig.”

Take advantage of one of these unique events to enjoy a casual stroll down one of Boston’s newest and most important urban green spaces, while getting the opportunity to hear from the fun, friendly and impassioned Horticulture staff assigned to its care. Consider extending your visit following the tour to include experiencing many of the other exciting Greenway features we have to offer the public from our fountains to Food trucks.

Tours are limited to a maximum of 100 people. To register for a tour please choose only one of the three dates that you wish to attend and the number of guests in your party.

Individuals can initially sign up a maximum of 20 guests, including yourself so we can accommodate as many groups and people as possible.  If there are vacancies as we draw closer to the date, we will contact you to sign up additional attendees.
