Debra Silverman Tarot and Astrology Class in Boulder 

During this weekend workshop you will dive into the heart of astrology and tarot.   Deeply entwined for six centuries, the art of tarot and the science of astrology have an undeniably powerful link.   The Tarot deck is ancient tool from the 15th century using symbols to represent the evolution of consciousness. Not much is known of the Tarot's history, however the 78 cards of the Tarot deck contain the wisdom of astrology. Carl Jung promoted the belief that symbols were access points into the collective unconscious. 

In this workshop you will learn the meaning of the cards and how to use them as a divination tool. You will learn everything you need to know, starting with elements, astrology and tarot basics, the cards' archetypal symbols and imagery, the twelve signs of the zodiac, and the planets. You'll discover how every card in the tarot deck relates to astrology, and learn to:

• Read tarot cards and interpret an astrological chart
• Pair the planets, signs, and houses with their corresponding tarot cards
• Understand the Minor and Major Arcana their astrological associations
• Make connections among the Court Cards, tarot suits, and the four elements
• Practical astrological spreads and interpretive techniques.

• Saturday, May 18 - 10:00 am - 3:00 pm  The Basics of the Elements, Astrology and Tarot 
• Sunday, May 19, 2013 - 10:00 am - 3:00 pm  Tarot Major and Minor Arcana through Astrology

These class are desigend to be taken together, however, you can take just Saturday's class if you are interested in only a basic introduction.   Cost for each individual class is $175.00 or if you register for both the cost is $300.   If you register by April 26 you will recieve an early bird discount.
