Brickhouse2013Dr. Tegwyn Brickhouse currently serves as an Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Pediatric Dentistry at VCU. Dr. Brickhouse is also Chair of the Virginia Oral Health Coalition's board of directors, is a state leader for the AAPD Head-Start Dental Home Initiative and is a member of the DMAS Dental Advisory Committee. She earned her dental degree from University of Nebraska, her pediatric dentistry specialty from UNC Chapel Hill and her PhD in Epideimology from UNC School of Public Health.

The Virginia Dental Home Initiative early childhood training is open to all who are interested in learning about preventative dental care for young children and prenatal oral health.  The training costs just $40 and offers 4.5 CERP credits for dental professionals.
