Harbor Wetlands Restoration Event

Volunteers ages 14+ are invited to join the City of Ventura’s Volunteer Ventura! program on Saturday, June 15 as we work to remove non-native plants (ice plant) and restore the Ventura Harbor Ecological Reserve, located at 1400 Spinnaker Drive, to its native habitat.

All tools and supplies will be provided. Volunteers are required to wear long pants and closed toed shoes, must be comfortable using rakes and shovels, and be able to kneel, bend, lift, and carry heavy plant material.

All participants and parents/guardians must sign a waiver, available HERE. Waivers will also be available at the project site.

Group Sign Up: On the online registration form under "Group Member Information" you may indicate how many from your group will attend. For this event we can take a group of up to 50 volunteers.
