ALSITE 2013 Annual Meeting

The 2013 Annual Meeting of the Alabama Section ITE has been scheduled for June 5th - 7th.

The meeting location this year will again be The Beach Club Resort. The Beach Club is located on Fort Morgan Road (AL Hwy 180), approximately 12 miles west of its intersection with Gulf Shores Parkway (AL Hwy 59). Our room block of 45 rooms will fill up fast so don’t delay on making your reservations. All rooms are condominium units. Our room block includes 1 and 2 bedroom units. A limited number of 3, 4 & 5 bedroom units are also available. Rooms in the block can be reserved from Tuesday night June 4th thru Saturday night June 8th.

The 1 bedroom units include a king bed in the master, 2 bunk beds (great for kids), a queen sofa sleeper and will sleep 6. The 2 bedroom units have a king in the master, 2 twins or a queen in the 2nd bedroom, queen sofa sleeper and will sleep 6. Please ask The Beach Club for info and rates on their larger units. All units have a one-time cleaning fee associated with the unit. The cleaning fee is charged whether you spend 1 night or 5 nights. Room rates are as follows:

1 Bedroom - $244.75/day, Cleaning Fee - $89.00. We have 33 units at this rate reserved.
2 Bedroom - $285.47/day, Cleaning Fee - $109.00. We have 12 units at this rate reserved.

These rates include all other fees and applicable taxes. You will be offered CSA Travel Insurance when you make your reservation. It is your option whether to pay for this insurance or not. All units are available on a first come, first serve basis. All reservations must be made directly with The Beach Club and guaranteed. To make a room reservation, please call 1-866-229-7350 and ask for Group Reservations, Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm. Be sure to advise the assistant that you are with the Alabama ITE group, Group Number 300952 in order to qualify for these rates. It is very important that you give them our group number.

The room block for our meeting will be held until May 4, 2013.  Check-in time is after 3:00 PM.

We need your help in planning the arrangements. Please pre-register by completing the Online Registration Form no later than Friday May 31st.  Clicking the "Register Now!" button will take you to the online registration form.  From within the online registration form, you will have the option to pay online with a credit card via PayPal or pay by check.  You can mail your check or bring it to the meeting with you.  However, please be aware that we can only accept cash or checks for registration fees at the registration desk.  We are not set up to be paid by any other means at the door (credit cards, coupons and/or vouchers from District or International).

You will receive an email copy of your registration information upon completion of the online registration process.

While we would like to have as many attendees as possible, we know that there will be some that will not be able to attend.  If you will not be able to attend, please consider a brief contribution to our planning efforts by letting us know via the "I can't attend this year" link in the email notices.

Pre-Registrations are due by Friday May 31st.

The Pre-Registration Fee is $160 per member or guest and $40 for each family member or guest who will only be attending the Annual Banquet and Scholarship Auction on the evening of Thursday June 6th.  If you fail to Pre-Register prior to the deadline, the Registration Fee will be $195 per member or guest and $65 for each family member or guest attending the banquet. It will not be necessary to send a check to pre-register, receipt of a Pre-Registration by May 31st will ensure your registration.

Following the Officers' Reception (sponsored by the Business and Consultant Groups) and the Annual Banquet, we will conduct our Annual Scholarship Auction. Items to be auctioned will consist of articles you provide, so please remember to bring something. “Nice” items or “gag” items are appropriate, but should be in good taste. All proceeds go to the Section’s Scholarship Funds.
