Surrealism Inspired Evening
The Dinner Party is a celebratory evening to help sustain the longest running independent movie theater in San Francisco, The Roxie Theater. You will enjoy a beautiful meal prepared by Chef Leif Hedendal, Prohibition-era inspired cocktails, jazz by the Gini Wilson Quartet, an exciting live auction and more!
This year we are thrilled to launch our First Annual Filmmakers Award: LIGHTS. CAMERA. ACTION! for exceptional leadership, courage, tireless efforts, and valuable contributions in film-making.
For an incredible 38 years the Roxie Theater has operated as an independent art-house theater, providing a much needed venue for documentary films rooted in a commitment to take risks and challenge the status quo, while inspiring viewers towards action. Our dedication to films which would likely never be presented at more mainstream, for-profit venues is the backbone of the Roxie, and a commitment we need your help to sustain.
