Summer Faculty Development Week

June 17-21, 2013

This 4.5 day Summer 2012 Faculty Development Week at City College of San Francisco’s Mission Campus in San Francisco, CA will provide:

Six “Train the trainer” tracks to prepare faculty to teach new or improve existing courses or programs:

1. Cisco IT-Essentials (Also Available to High School Teachers)
2. Cisco CCNA 1 Version 5 (Also Available to High School Teachers (FULL)
3. Accelerated NetApp Certified Storage Associate (NCSA) Boot Camp
4. Content Management Systems (CMS) Fundamentals and Security
5. User Experience and Interaction Design Intensive
6. Packet Analysis and Intrusion Detection (FULL)

One pedagogical track to impart new teaching and learning skills:

7. Teach Your Students to Think for Themselves and Make Employers Happy

Event registration is free to qualified ICT educators, who may be eligible for travel cost reimbursements.


Qualified faculty are community college instructors in ICT related topics in California, Nevada, Hawaii and the Pacific Territories and Cisco Academy affiliated high school teachers for the two Cisco tracks from California.  Limited travel support is available.  See the event description for more details.
