2013 DDIFO National Conference and DDIFO Hall of Fame Awards Dinner 

These are exciting times for DD Franchise Owners – and for your independent franchisee organization, DDIFO, as well.  As we all know, Dunkin’ continues its steady and prolific expansion west, regularly announcing new developments in many new and emerging markets!

 At the same time, we at DDIFO are working hard to mirror that expansion with our own national membership initiative.   To that end, we’ve held a number of informative member meetings in different markets, with several more coming up.  As we look to bring our benefits and services to others who may not be as familiar with our true value, we also continue to assist and serve our base membership, helping long established franchisees continue to grow and prosper. 

Unfortunately, there are many who are STILL recovering from the difficulties and devastation wrought by Hurricane Sandy back in 2012.  In fact, there a number of Dunkin’ shops that may never reopen as a direct result of that superstorm.

For those of us who dodged the hardship and devastation of Sandy – or who have since recovered – we can still help our fellow owners in the New York and New Jersey markets.  Toward that end, and with that specific goal in mind, I am delighted to officially announce that the 2013 DDIFO National Conference and DDIFO Hall of Fame Awards Dinner will be held on September 16-18 in Atlantic City, NJ.  The National Conference will again provide great educational and informative content, an array of knowledgeable and dynamic speakers, along with another exceptional exhibit hall featuring our many sponsors and vendors. But, this year it will also help resurrect the Jersey Shore’s devastated tourism industry.

Over the years, DDIFO members have told us they prefer a gambling venue as the site of our National Conference. This year, we are thrilled to hold the National Conference at Caesar’s Palace Atlantic City.  Caesar’s is a top-shelf hotel and casino at the very heart of the famous Boardwalk, offering a great facility for our conference.

I sincerely hope that you will continue to support DDIFO and, this year, also help resurrect the Jersey Shore’s tourism industry with your attendance at our 2013 National Conference.  We’ll have much more information on the National Conference and DDIFO Annual Hall of Fame Awards & Dinner to share with you over the coming weeks.
