GOES TO THE
PACIFIC COAST BUILDERS' SHOW
SAN DIEGO CONVENTION CENTER
LUNCHEON PRESENTATION, JUNE 4
AND
DINNER PRESENTATION, JUNE 5
IN THE COURTYARD AT THE HORTON GRAND HOTEL
Continuing our efforts to expand our visiblity in the construction industry, AIBD-CS is going to walk the floor and shake the hands of the vendors and representatives of the companies at the Pacific Coast Builders' Conference! These are the companies that provide the products we specify for our projects, develop the tools we use to produce our designs, and educate builders and the public about the ever-changing technologies for better, more efficient buildings.
In conjunction with the Builders' Show, we will be holding our Board of Directors Meetings combined with lunch on Tuesday and dinner on Wednesday. Both meals will feature presentations by some of our generous sponsors. Dinner will include speakers Doug Stead of California Council for Interior Design Certification and Patti Morrow, Interior Design Protection Consultant.
ABOUT THE 2013 PACIFIC COAST BUILDERS SHOW
PCBC was launched in 1959 as a small educational conference at the Sheraton Palace Hotel in San Francisco. To say that the event has grown and evolved since then would be a considerable understatement. It was, at one point in the housing boom of the early- to mid-2000s, the fastest growing tradeshow in the nation, as ranked by Tradeshow Week magazine. And while that designation was flattering, PCBC’s enduring value and distinctiveness has never been about raw numbers. Instead, as one of our board members puts it, “Connections are the soul of PCBC.”
You can find larger housing industry events. But you will not find any higher caliber events, drawing more influential builders, creating richer intersections of capital—human, intellectual and financial—anywhere in North America. Through targeted educational forums, exclusive networking venues, a curated exhibit floor experience, product “matchmaking” sessions and more, PCBC is dedicated to creating better ways for buyers and sellers to productively engage.
Who attends? PCBC is a gathering of America’s most prominent residential builders, developers, architects, building scientists, lenders, investors, marketers and product manufacturers. Although PCBC made its name as a homebuilding event, it now draws major builders of a wide range of housing forms—single-family, multifamily, mixed-use, seniors’ and resort development.
The country's largest volume builders call PCBC home because it offers them unparalleled connections:

The PCBC audience, influenced by the innovative culture and population of the region, has led the way in integrating new technologies—including higher performing building materials and systems—into the home. PCBC’s community of builders, architects, building scientists and product manufacturers is driving innovative new approaches in:
