Sentient Science Press Conference

Governor Cuomo and Senator Schumer Open Advanced Manufacturing and Computational Testing Laboratory in Buffalo, New York’s Butler Mansion.

Sentient Sciences to partner with University of Buffalo Center of Aerospace and Medical Materials and Computation Research Center to improve product lifecycle performance for Energy, Healthcare, Automotive and Machinery Markets through the Industrial Internet.

Sentient Science will host a news conference, demonstrations and luncheon at its new corporate headquarters at our offices, the Butler Mansion, on the University at Buffalo campus. Sentient has secured $23 million in competitively won contracts to build out its prognostics simulation technology based on the Material Genome Program and Advanced Manufacturing Initiatives and will demonstrate its product development tools and condition-based maintenance tools running on Wind Turbines and Helicopters.

Representatives from the Department of Defense, manufacturing companies, engineering service providers, funding agencies will be available for comment and photo opportunities. Tours of the Butler Mansion, product demonstrations and lunch will also be available.

###

Sentient Science is a software and sensor company based in New York and Idaho.  Since the company’s founding, it has distinguished itself by building a family of system engineering solutions with the mandate to replace physical design, testing, and maintenance of materials, components, assemblies and platforms.  The solutions were validated in 2010 by NASA to provide a clear hard dollar cost savings to clients by replacing physical testing with virtual testing at half the cost, twice the speed, and increased accuracy. Sentient’s core DigitalClone technology builds virtual models that are an exact copy of a physical counterpart across its lifetime and duty cycle. These virtual models can perform tests for all variables and use cases for metallic and composite materials, components, assemblies, and platforms.  By enabling these complete tests, DigitalClones can determine the future performance and life of a material or machine without the need for physical testing or historical behavior data.
