Program Description:

Are you Harnessing Your Potential Every Day (H.Y.P.E.)? Janice remembers studying Physics when she was in high school. There is a law that explains two types of energy – Kinetic and Potential. The difference is simple. One is in motion and the other is not. She has learned that it is a good thing to hear that a 5-year old or a 15-year old has potential but when a person is 50 years old, hearing that they have great potential may not be the most flattering thing. It’s time to ‘Go Kinetic’! Janice will provide the attendees tools and strategies to help them get gear! In this session the audience will learn:

• The difference in kinetic and potential energy and its impact on their life’s achievement
• What harnessing their potential can mean to their success
• What might be standing in the way of their accomplishing their dreams
• The three things they need to do to make possibilities realities
• The purpose of having H.Y.P.E. ideas on a daily basis

About the Speaker: 

Janice Coleman is President/CEO of Janice Coleman Corporation(based in Greater Philadelphia Region. The company’s mission is to Prepare People to Perform. They achieve that through supporting organizations and individuals with professional development trainings, event promotions and business consulting. JCC is a host of such events as the world renowned Chick-fil-A Leadercast and FraserNet’s SuccessNet 2013 as well as other conferences/events.

Janice is an experienced professional with over 20 years in the corporate arena.  She started her career in Information Technology where she worked as a leader in the Insurance Industry in the Greater Philadelphia Area. Subsequent to her IT career, Janice transitioned into Training and Career Consulting where she has gained a reputation for her expertise and ability to provide her clients and audiences with a competitive edge in the marketplace. She shares with others from her in-depth experiences. Her successes include, as a Senior Leader, for a worldwide communications organization where she oversaw the advancement of a 2900-member unit to increase their success rate by over 30% within a one year time frame. Janice Coleman brings a calm energy and passion to every stage upon which she stands and every situation she in which she is engaged. Her dynamism and capacity to provoke people to action and to sets every situation up excellence.

She earned her BA from Chesapeake Bible College/Seminary and holds certifications in Career Management, Project Management, Organizational Management and Public Speaking. Cost: Free for Philly ASTD members, $30 for non-members.   Non-members may attend 2 SIG meetings for free before being asked to join the chapter or pay $30 per meeting.
