The Homeland Defense and Security Education Summit is an annual event in organized by the Naval Postgraduate School Center for Homeland Defense and Security, in partnership with the Department of Homeland Security, FEMA, and a host university. Now in its sixth year, the Summit brings together security and emergency management educators, government agency representatives, and practitioners from around the world to discuss pressing topics of current interest, present research, and network with thought-leaders Homeland Security and related disciplines. Special thanks to our 2013 partners: FEMA Region I, Northeastern University, the Homeland Security Institute, and the National Homeland Defense Foundation.
