Have you ever been frustrated because someone in poverty behaves in a way you do not understand?

Have you ever said to yourself, "If they would just get a job, it would all be 'ok' ?"

Are you fed up with people who appear to take advantage of the system?

Then this workshop is for you!  We explore the reasons people raised in poverty behave differently from those raised in middle class.  You will experience how someone in poverty feels when trying to provide resources for their family. We also explore the correlation between crime and poverty, education and poverty, and self sufficiency and poverty.

Cost = $135.00

Early Bird Special = $125.00 before June 19, 2013.

Continental breakfast and lunch included.

This program was approved for 6.0 General hour(s) of continuing education credit by the National Association of Social Workers—Louisiana Chapter as authorized by the Louisiana State Board of Social Work Examiners.
