Baden Academy Summer Camps: Week 3

July 22-26 9:30 am to 12:00 pm

Zany Animal Documentaries with Alice 2

Summer camps are being offered at Baden Academy Charter School for kids going into third, fourth or fifth grade. July 22-26 morning will be Zany Animal Documentaries with Alice 2 with Dr. Ellen.

The camp will include learning to program in Alice 2, examining the camera angles and details of animal documentaries, and looking at the character development of the creatures from the world of Harry Potter.

Adults wishing to learn the technology may register free by calling Ellen at 724-561-6461.

Zany Animal Documentaries

with Alice 2

Join Dr. Ellen to create a creature using Alice 2 animation software. Will it be cute or ferocious? What does it do in the wild? What fun facts can you tell us about your creature? Kids will create a documentary to enter into the CS2N Summer of Learning Nature Documentary competition. We will also be examining the camera angles and details of National Geographic animal documentaries and looking at the character development of the creatures from the world of Harry Potter.
