On Wednesday, June 19, the San Diego Regional Water Quality Control Board will meet in San Diego to determine whether or not to issue necessary permits for the critical Tesoro Extension of the 241 Toll Road.
This extension is vital to the economic health of our region, as it will create jobs and support the transportation needs for new communities planned for the area.
It's important to note that the opponents of jobs and economic growth who have sued to stop this project have now vowed they will fill seats at this meeting. These special interest activists are not from here and do not represent the interests of our region. Why should they be the only voices in the room?
So we ask for your time, your patience and most importantly, your voice in helping us bring home the jobs the Tesoro Extension will bring if approved.
