Sacramento = Professional Sports Teams, Learn How and Why!
We have secured the Sacramento Kings, and the River Cats are a top Triple-A baseball league in our area but did you know that Sacramento will become the home of the next professional Soccer team? Come and listen to the growing “TEAM” sports in Sacramento and hear about the impact to the community, where it will be located and how will it market to the outlining communities. Join us to hear Warren Smith, Founder of Sacramento Professional Soccer and former manager of the River Cats Baseball group talk about the horizon of team sports for our area.
As founder of River City Sports & Entertainment and executive vice president of the Sacramento River Cats, Warren Smith negotiated land purchase and sale agreements, naming rights contracts, and public financing mechanisms that led to the development of Raley Field in 2000. He currently serves as Board Chairman of the Sacramento Convention and Visitors Bureau, and on the board of directors for the Sacramento River Cats Foundation, Colling’s West Sacramento Teen Center, and the West Sacramento Chamber of Commerce.
