You Are Cordially Invited to Attend the

TPAS Collaborative 2013

TPAS, Treatment Professionals in Alumni Services  -  A professional membership association of individuals and organizations that share and promote "best practices" for addiction treatment alumni services and other recovery support services programs.

What is a "TPAS Collaborative"?

Last year, TPAS held its first Collaborative event. Thirty-five participants from organizations across the country gathered to share ideas, successes and challenges about the work they do as alumni services and recovery suppert services providers.

Attendees described this as "the best event they ever attended" and an "opportunity for both personal and professional growth".  Participants left with ideas that they put into practice immediately. Moreover, many who attended stayed in touch over the past year to continue to support one another and share ideas.

"I believe that alumni services will emerge in the coming years as a major vehicle for post-treatment recovery support and recovery-related policy advocacy. I expect the Second TPAS Collaborative will move this vision closer to fruition. My very best wishes to all of you who will be involved."                                                                                 William L. White, Noted researcher and consultant; Author, Slaying the Dragon: The History of Addiction Treatment and Recovery in America
