Tennessee Has the Distinction of Being an Abortion Destination…

This Must End.

Since 2000, the goal of the pro-life community has been to restore the ability of the citizens and elected officials to decide Tennessee’s abortion policies.  After 13 years, the time is right to pass a Constitutional amendment which rejects the notion that our Tennessee state Constitution allows for abortion-on-demand.  Amendment 1 will be on the ballot in November 2014.

Concerned Women of America of Tennessee is hosting this conference to educate the public about Amendment 1 to the Tennessee State Constitution.  This upcoming Amendment goes to ballot in November of 2014 and will have a critical impact on the state regulations regarding abortion.  The current state of abortion regulation in Tennessee is detrimentally lenient, one of the most lenient in the country.  Amendment One would bolster regulations on abortion, giving Tennessee a firmer stance for prolife legislation.  The effects of this Amendment could have a permanent effect on generations to come as well as the future of our country.  Please join us in supporting life.
