The Millie Taylor Award pays tribute to "Women Who Make A Difference in the Lives of our Troops."
Millie Taylor is a WWII Navy Veteran and one of six siblings who served during World War II. In addition to losing her brother in Germany, Millie is also a “Gold Star Mother” who lost her son in Vietnam.
This year’s concert will kick off a four month fundraising campaign and will pay tribute to women who have made great contributions to supporting our troops with the Cops 4 Causes “Millie Taylor Award.”
In November we will concluded with Operation Gratitude boxes beinf shipped with our 1st responders delegation, including Millie Taylor, to our U.S. Service Members stationed in Germany. The 600 care packages will be distributed with our partner organization, U.S.O. Germany, for Thanksgiving.

Since the events of 9/11, over a million U.S. service members have been deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan in the war against terrorism. The U.S. has nearly 60,000 troops still deployed. The DOD estimates that 360,000 returning service members suffer from Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI) and over 31,000 have sustained other serious injuries.
Currently the City of Los Angeles has the largest homeless veterans population in the United States.
Cops 4 Causes supports a comprehensive approach to providing support vital to helping our veterans transition from military life. Funds raised by our efforts will support veteran employment, education and wellness programs nationally.
