Marketing P2P - Getting Found: SEO and PPC

"If you build it they will come" is great for the movies but not great for your website.

Getting found online is AS IMPORTANT as having a website and, if you want the people who are looking for your products and services online (and they are definitely looking) to find you and not your competition, then you need to make sure that after you've built your site, ou have a solid strategy for making sure it can be found EASILY and CONSISTENTLY on page one of the search engine.

In this 45 minute session, we will focus on 4 key strategies for getting found: SEO, Pay per click (aka PPC, adwords or online advertising), Maps and Social Media. We will cover:

  • understanding how Search Engines work and how the above strategies are treated by search engines
  • the importance of your audience, your competition and your business when choosing keywords
  • the difference between "hunting" and "farming" in the online world
  • How NOT to blow through the budget with zero results
